For the newcomers it might all seem very daunting but there will be on hand members of the Brats to help answer your question (if they can't they will know someone who can) to the best of their ability whether it is regarding wire antennas or fixing a PL 259 to coax cable.

600+ visitors in 2007 space for many more Some 600 plus visitor came thought the doors and they were existing amateur looking to meet up with those they work on air and some radio enthusiasts looking for bargains. From the hive of activity going one everyone seemed to find what they wanted one way or another.

The Rainham Radio Rally has always been know for it "good food" and it is planned to have available items to suite most taste. Whilst sampling the goodies of the canteen there will be space set aside to chat with friends.

We hope that you will come to the rally and enjoy Amateur Radio to the full.

Directions to the rally

Coming down from London from the A2 join the M2 motorway. Exit the M2 motorway at Junction 4 and join the A278. Turn right at first roundabout after a short distance turn right at the mini roundabout into Wigmore Road. After about 200 yards go straight on round the next mini. After about 300 yards you will come to two mini roundabouts. At the first continue straight on, at the second turn left into Maidstone Rd. Follow signs for RRR.

Coming up from the Kent Coast on the M2, exit the M2 motorway at Junction 4 and join the A278. Turn right at first roundabout. Coming in via the A2 from Rochester. Follow A2 to the top of Chatham Hill. Then continue the A2 to Rainham. You are looking out for a right hand turn at traffic lights with the Manor Farm restaurant on the corner ahead of you. Turn right into Maidstone Rd leaving the restaurant on your left hand side. Follow RRR signs to the rally.
